Positive opk 4 days before af

Hey everyone, I need advice please! I'm a poas addict me and hubby been trying for 4 years he does have a few problems. But we have managed to conceive in the past but it's either ended up in ectopic or miscarriage.
Well as the title says I took an opk this evening 4 days before af due and its positive?! Anyone had an experience in this? Thanks x

I've seen people try to use these as early guesses to pregnancy, but if you're only due in 4 days then why dont you just take a pregnancy test? That is the only way to know.

I dont have any preg tests in the house. That's why I was silly enough to take an opk will buyback test after work.

Have you had a previous positive OPK so you know you have already ovulated? If not you could have just ovulated late.
If you know you have already ovulated, you could be pregnant but will need to take a pregnancy test to confirm. Good luck!

Melbs6 yeah I do track ovulation and ovulated on cd18. Thank you

This can happen just before AF as you get a hormone surge I have used in the past and thought I was pregnant and wasnt I would only use hcg tests as this can give you false hope x

I’m currently near 22 weeks pregnant and the morning I did my clear blue pregnancy test it was a total dud! The control line didn’t even come up!!

I had some ovulation sticks in the house so I did one of them and sure enough it came right up pink so I got my ass to Tesco for it opening at 6am for another test and sure enough it was positive!

I know They’re certainly not a completely reliable or accurate Indicator but the HCG levels in urine can activate it like the LH hormones do!

Thanks for the replies. I guess the only way to find out is to test. Will pick some pregnancy tests up after work and keep my fingers crossed xx
