Aldi nappies are bloody brilliant. We've not had one single leaky nappy despite some impressively large poos!!

They appear to be the nappy of choice amongst all the mums I know and as an added bonus they are also very very cheap.

Cloth nappies are the only things that contain newborn poo explosions! I loved Lil Joey and Grovia for newborn.

TotsBots newborn are great too.

I used pamper size zero as my girls were 5lb 5oz and 6lb 3oz.
Once in size 1 i have switched to Aldi

I swore by Aldi nappies for my son, great absorbency and didn't get saggy like Pampers. Don't think I ever used newborn size on him though, discovered them later.

However, my daughter had a severe reaction to the newborn size ones and it was like someone had put acid on her down there, so we use Asda little angels on her and continue to use Aldi ones on my son.

Too scared to try different size Aldi on her now.

We loved the Aldi ones from the beginning. Nice and cheap too.
We've recently moved to pampers extra absorbent ones for night time, but that's for a toddler who now does massive wee's in bed

Tried different brands, pampers premium worked the best for us.

Tescos has been best for us, and only £2.99! We have had maybe two major poo leaks, but 90% of the time they're fine...would love to try Aldi but don't have one local to us

Baby is 8 weeks old btw, we also used them for our first

Flibbledibble · 09/03/2020 19:25

P.S - we started off with size 1 which leaked terribly, so I tried size 2 and they were fine

My faves are Aldi, Lidl and Asda. All very cheap and better than Pampers for newborn imho xx

Aldi were fool proof for us. We had maybe two poo explosions but I highly doubt any nappy would have kept it in 😂 also used Sainsburys in an emergency as local.

Nappies are nappies, if they leak a lot, it’s generally because they are too small & you need a size up. But that said, some babies do have very sensitive little bottoms & you may find certain brands suit better!

Nappy costs burn a little hole in your pocket, don’t get sucked into the idea you must use premium brands! Worth trying a few if unsure!
