Hi ladies turned 34 weeks on Saturday baby was measuring big at 32 week scan measuring a good 2 weeks ahead. Last few days I have been losing my mucus plug not a show as no blood but definitely mucus plug as this is 4th baby and lost it with others. I keep getting bad period cramps not too many BH but some. Everytime I get the cramps I go to bathroom and lose more mucus plug also been running to pop a lot more. Has this happened anyone else? Don't want to phone assessment unit as the cramps aren't making my bump hard at all

Would phone the unit.

Definitely still phone the unit - you're never wasting their time. They will probably want to monitor you as you're not 38 weeks yet.

Even though cramps are irregular? Never had this with others they were text book lol

I had my son at 35 weeks and the start of labour felt exactly like that.

Tearsofhemushroom did they just check you and know you were in labour or what exactly happened if you don't mind me asking?

You definitely need to call the unit. This is exactly how my premature labour started too.

To answer your last post, they put me on the CTG monitor and it was clear on that I was having contractions. They will almost certainly want you to attend the unit with the symptoms you’re having as you’re not at term yet.
