Went for a consultation 2 weeks ago as I'm getting a ECS they weighed me and I had put on a whopping 5 stone I knew I had gained alot but I was shocked as we're the midwife and doctor got a long lecture about healthy eating which had went out the window this pregnancy Blush
So since then I've been careful what I eat by no means starving just cut out the bad stuff went for my follow up appointment today and I've lost half a stone midwife was really pleased said I should keep going and try to lose more before the section as it will he easier on me and the surgeon all good so I thought .
Then the doctor comes in and says she's really concerned about the weight loss and worried for the baby but the midwife says the baby will still be growing fine I've came away really confused the doctor has also booked me in for a GD test that I've been asking for since 28 weeks im now 36 weeks and now so worried I have it and it's done damage to the baby as it's not been picked up until much later on does anyone else have any experience with weight loss in late pregnancy im going to obviously continue with the healthy eating I just dont want to go back next week and I've lost more and get a lecture about that too I feel I can't win .
