Overweight scans

So ladies I'm overweight going for my first scan on Thursday.... Just wondering how may extra scans did you have? I know I will have to have more the midwife said but just wondering what approx dates are?

With my first two I just had an extra scan at about the 32/33 week mark to check their size. But with my last pregnancy I didn't have any extra scans. which was alittle disappointing because I'd been looking forward to it, but you really don't see much as they're so big by then

I had loads! 9 weeks for bleeding, standard 12 + 20 weeks, a repeat of my 20 week at 22 weeks then every 3 weeks from 27 weeks until delivery at 39.

I'm sure I had like 4 or 5 last time.... But its been awhile!!

I'm overweight and will have additional scans for that reason at 32 and 36 weeks

I was overweight in pregnancy and no one ever suggested extra scans for it. I ended up having GD so had 3 extra scans as a result of that.
