Is it possible to boost growth of baby?

Hi, I'm after some advice please. 27 +4 weeks growth scan indicates that baby is currently on the smaller side. It's been a stressful pregnancy so far as I have low papp a, a hormone that can indicate that the placenta may not work as well as it should. I'm on aspirin daily to improve blood flow. At the scan the placenta and cord appear to be working well but babys growth is on the smaller side (about 20th centile). Is there anything I can eat /do to improve growth? Thank you!

20th centile is fine though. As long as the baby is following their centile chart line and isn’t too big or too small (when you’d worry about IUGR etc) it’s otherwise fine.

Will you be having regular growth scans?

My baby was small, but my parents partners family are all really short and skinny people, not every baby is going to be a giant. How is the overall growth, do they follow the curve?

My third baby was IUGR and was quite low on the centile. I read that drinking or eating beetroot helps circulation, so might help circulation to the placenta too. I did have some natural beetroot juice and drank a couple of glasses a day.
Don't know if it worked but she was fine when born.

@MonaLisaDoesntSmile it was only my first growth scan so too early to tell if he's following his own curve yet. They don't want to see me for another 6 weeks (I presumed they'd ask me to come back much sooner) so am trying to think of ways of boosting growth in case it slows down.
