Growth Scans

This is my first post here and looking for thoughts/advice please.

I am currently 35+4 with first baby and unsure on baby’s weight/size. We were sent for a growth scan at 28 weeks which we were told was fine and baby was just above 10th centile. Have had bump measurements since and after last one midwife referred again for another growth scan (bump measurements put me near 90th centile) we had scan at 35+2 and this plotted just below 10th centile. Sonographer wanted us to see a midwife but they had gone so we were Told to attend MAU. All my obs and baby’s movements all ok but doctor there went off to discuss with consultant for about 30 minutes. She then returned to say that they were just satisfied as after calculating scan weights baby was averaging 24g weight gain a day but want us to go back for another scan in 3 weeks. Something just doesn’t sit right with me as they repeatedly kept saying you must come straight back with any bleeding or pains. I know it sounds strange but I felt like they were borderline wanting to do something in MAU but I just don’t know what. Sorry for the rant but just wondering if I’m worrying for no reason. Scan also had estimated weight as 5lb 1 which I thought was quite average for 35 weeks.

It's all very inaccurate with baby weights, etc. 1 friend of mine had a c-section early as her child was 'huge' apparently and the baby ended up being normal weight - the hospital got into a bit of bother about that. Same with me. I was told my baby wasn't growing right, then too much. Again, completely average birthweight!

The scan weight are not accurate so dnt worry too much my friend when she was pregnant it showed the baby weighted alot more then average but when she had the baby its was quite small weight

Thank you Smile It's just so hard not knowing. I've seen so many people say about scan estimates being incorrect it makes me feel better.
