So I'm 16 weeks and my boobs are huge already my shoulders are killing with the weight so just been to get measured and nearly keeled over when she told me I'm a 38F! I don't want to be spending loads on bras that are possibly only going to be good for a couple of months so where do you big busted ladies get your cheap bras? TIA x

Interested to find this out as well. I'm a 34e normally so I'm expecting to knock people out by turning soon Grin no idea where to go for maternity bras x

BabyB19 · 08/03/2020 15:32

I was the same before, how far are you? She told me to go back when I'm 26-30 weeks and then again two weeks before I'm due for nursing bras, it's going to cost a fortune, I didn't factor in ever growing tata's to the baby budget 😭🤣

Coming up to 12 weeks now. Normally have underwired bras but finding them uncomfortable already. Might have to get a small loan out for underwear 😂 x

INeedToGetHealthy · 08/03/2020 16:04

Not the cheapest but I have been using Molke bras for a while now. I love them. They can be used pre & post pregnancy, breastfeeding and general use.

I’m usually a 38H but have gone up to I don’t know what size because most shops only stock up to H and the J ones are online, I’m worried I won’t get ones to fit by e time baby comes, I’m only 24 weeks

Cornishbumpkin · 08/03/2020 16:24

I share your despair @Rosabuddy
I've already bought and sent back four different maternity bras cause they didn't fit at all. I'm a 38HH and hate to think what they might go up to.

Interested in trying a Mille bra though

Cornishbumpkin · 08/03/2020 16:26

Sorry I'm reply to OPs post, I've always liked Debenhams gorgeous range for bigger bras (pre pregnancy)

BabyB19 · 08/03/2020 17:16

@Cherryrainbow the bra fitter has told me to go to mine underwired which worries me but the one I bought today (full cup, lace) is plenty supportive enough.
Thank you @INeedToGetHealthy I will check it out 🥰
I feel for you both @Rosabuddy @Cornishbumpkin It's bad enough at an F I have my fingers crossed you guys don't get any bigger! Xx

Where did you get measured?
What top size are you normally?
Have you tried this DIY measuring method: booborbust.com/

BabyB19 · 08/03/2020 17:39

@NameChange30 I got measured in M&S who have always been spot on for me before ☺️

OP posts:
NameChange30 · 08/03/2020 18:09

M&S are notoriously terrible at measuring.
What top size do you normally wear?
A size 16-18? I doubt it.

Try Boob or bust, give it a go and tell me I'm wrong!

BabyB19 · 08/03/2020 18:35

They have always been spot on for me @NameChange30 and yes I normally wear a 16 now moving into 18?

NameChange30 · 08/03/2020 19:08

In that case might be fine then 👍

NameChange30 · 08/03/2020 19:18

Sorry I forgot to recommend a bra 🙈

Sugar Candy non-wired or nursing bra (the latter has clips for BF), sold at bravissimo or online on various websites for a bit cheaper. It's comfy, stretchy (so it will accommodate fluctuations in size) and support is good for a non-wired bra.

Panache Sophie bra (again non-wired or nursing versions) is pretty and support is ok but it gave me a mono boob, might be better for an F cup though (mine are GG/H).

daisy129437 · 08/03/2020 19:58

I can recommend bravissimo, I got measured there at 20 weeks and I'm going again now at 30 weeks because my boobs never seem to stop growing! was a 34 FF at 20 weeks.

Anon87 · 08/03/2020 20:16

I'd always recommend Bravissimo. They measure you by brand as all brands are silly and different. I'm a G in triumph but H in Panache. They're hardly cheap but if you use the service and buy just one you know exactly what you're looking for and can get them brand new off shops on EBay for half the price.

debbierichardson33 · 10/03/2020 08:30

Cheaper than Bravissimmo and with more range are the nursing bra shop. I also have a large cup size and these guys have a large range of large cup nursing bras. I recommend the Royce Blossom which is really comfy. www.nursingbra-shop.co.uk/royce-nursing-bra-blossom~321 . I had to post my Panache Sophie back as it did not fit well but the service was good. But if you need to be fitted Bravissimmo is best.

NameChange30 · 10/03/2020 08:55

I often get fitted in bravissimo and buy one bra there, then buy one or two others cheaper online (eg same style different colour).

BabyB19 · 10/03/2020 10:02

@debbierichardson33 @Anon87 @daisy129437 thank you for your suggestions ladies. I'm very jealous of my flat Chested friends atm 🤦🏽‍♀️🤣
