Hi, i just wondered if anyone could put my mind at rest.
I am 22 weeks pregnant and have an anterior placenta however people are saying i should have felt baby move by now.
I have felt a few little flutters they are by no means consistent and can go a few days without feeling them but i still haven't felt anything i can definitely define as a kick and i am worrying.
Can anyone relate?

I had an anterior and only had flutters at 22 weeks.
My friend didn't feel kicks until 28 weeks with an anterior, I wouldn't worry xxx

Hi @elliejeang I am in the same situation as you with an anterior placenta, I am not worrying too much at this stage and hoping will start to feel kicks soon. I have been told it’s likely to be closer to 24 weeks and I know people who haven’t felt kicks until much later like @AlviesMam said. Try not to worry xx

Hi, I don't have an anterior placenta, its all. However, I still didn't feel any flutters until 21.5 weeks. I cant say I felt anything more than flutters close to kicking until about 23 weeks. Try not to worry.

Listen to your midwife not people. :)
It's normal to not feel much anyways until 24 weeks, but with an anterior placenta can take a bit longer.
I have an anterior placenta too and it took a bit to feel proper movements. Also if it's your first baby it might take some more time too.

My friend who had an anterior placenta never felt her baby move. I have one so was expecting not to but at 21 weeks baby started kicking and punching and hasn't stopped since! Everyone is different and there is no normal x
