Bleeding in early pregnancy after ivf

Has anyone experienced bleeding and everything been ok? Last week at 5+3 I passed blood, enough to fill a pad. I had a blood test 48hrs apart and my blood had doubled. I am taking Vaginal suppositories which I hoped had been the cause (irritating my cervix) so I started putting them in the other hole for a few days and the bleeding subsided. Yesterday at 6+1 I had another larger bleed, enough to soak 2 pads. I went to the epu and they tested my blood again and it has risen however I have been having smaller light bleeds ever since. They won’t scan me until 7 weeks. I had changed back to taking the suppositories vaginally for a couple of days before the bleeding so I am really hoping it could be the problem again but I’m really starting to worry it isn’t. Is it possible to be miscarrying but still have good hcg levels and feeling sick as a dog? Any advice would be much appreciated.

Hi @Piglet11 hope you’re doing ok. I’m 8+2 after an IVF pregnancy, I’m not sure about that amount of bleeding but I’m hoping all will be ok for you, I’ve heard lots of stories where people have had big bleeds and things have been just fine. I had a very tiny amount just on wiping at 6+6 and then was given a scan the next day and all looks ok for now.
I have always taken the pessaries up the ‘other hole’ as I can’t deal with the mess, it’s actually not that bad at all and maybe a permanent switch would help you?
