Large hooded towel for baby

Hello

I read somewhere it’s best to get large size hooded towels for babies.

Just wondering where you would recommend I look? Has anyone found any really soft large ones in their experience?

What size should I be looking for? Larger than the average 75cm x 75cm?

Thanks in advance!

My mum bought my children Cuddledry towels. I think they come in two sizes and she bought the larger one. You can really wrap the baby up in it and my four year old still uses it. It was a bit big when she was walking around in it age 2 bit they do do a smaller size. The first one we had was really really soft. The second one is still nice and quite soft, but not as much. I'm not sure if they changed things, my mum was trying to buy something similar.

I was given a large hooded towel from the white company for dd2, it's lovely. Still really soft, and still big enough now that she's 17months.

Liewood make cute towels in two sizes. Gorgeously soft.

I got a large (not sure on the size) fluffy towel from B&M, my DD still loves it at 11 months! I'd definitely recommend having a look in there.

Ikea we have 2!

Ikea have large hooded towels, great quality & cheap! We actually use Ikea towels as swimming towels as they are large!

For at home, you don’t need anything unusually large, babies are tiny! .. Asda do a pack of 3 hooded towels in various colours for about £7.50 we used them with our daughter until she was 2 and needed something a bit bigger!

I wanted to say ikea too.

I'll buy them bigger size so you can use them even later when baby is a toddler. I have some smaller ones( were given to me) and they are quite small for my 2yo, but I still use them.

I have the white company one too. It's not nearly as soft any more but still fits a tall almost 4 year old!

Another vote for Ikea! I have a blue one with a bear on the hood (believe they still sell it) - was a gift when ds was born and still using it at 3

As a rule, for a larger size, you want one where the hood is an addition to the towel rather than made from the corner of the towel if that makes sense.

The ikea ones are good, asda are great too - still easily fit my 3yo
