Hi all, my husband and I are taking shared parental leave. We're splitting it as equally as possible, I'll be starting 2 weeks before due date and hubby can't start his leave until baby is born. We're also going to have the time off at the same time rather then me for 3 months, then him, them me etc.
I have tried to raise this question with two different people in HR but not really getting a yes or no answer so hoping mumsnet cant help!
With regards to payment, I am right in assuming my husband and I will both get paid at the same time? For example, instead of just me having 33 weeks maternity pay at £148ish, we will both get £148 a week but 16/17 weeks?
I've tried to keep this post as simple as possible, it is just the payment question I need help with. Thank you all in advance
