Someone tested positive for Coronavirus where hubby works

Someone has tested positive for Coronavirus that works in same building as husband. Husbands office is on a separate floor, the only thing they could have potentially shared is lifts and stairs. Am I overreacting in thinking hubby should get checked? I'm pregnant and have a 1 year old so I think my mind is working over time...

He will only need to be checked if he develops symptoms. To panic and start asking for tests without symptoms is madness and it's what puts extra pressure on our amazing medical staff.

I don't think you're being unreasonable. The virus can be spread when an infected person is asymptomatic.

He won’t qualify for a test so asking for one isn’t going to make a difference. If he gets any symptoms then he needs testing. Try not to worry.
