mucus plug help

so this morning I've had an excessive amount of discharge when visiting the ladies.
quite thick and string like.
my question is ... as it was clear can this be my mucus plug or is it always a bloody show?

Tmi but mine was green and glupy..no blood at all

@mrsed1987 haha I was in two minds to post as thought maybe it is tmi in the morning.
yeah I say clear but I'd say it had a greeny colour to it. very similar to what your describing

Doesn’t have to have blood in it. I lost mine the first time at 21 weeks and it had a green tinge to it. Not always bloody. I’m 37 weeks and the glob I lost yesterday wasn’t bloody either.

thanks ladies, I think because they call it a bloody show I just assumed it would be exactly that. midwife said this morning baby is very much engaged so that's exciting

The plug and bloody show are two different things usually 🙂

I lost my plug which looked like a big lump of snot (nice!) but then I had a bloody show at 5cm dilated where I was getting brown/pink when I wiped and brown mucus. It's lovely 😂

Oh yes, I've only had him a week and the learning doesn't stop haha!
