37 weeks and uncomfortable

hi, so this evening I've been having so much cramp on and off and slight lower back pain.
I've had cramp the last few nights but tonight it's more intense.
I see my midwife tomorrow so planning on speaking to her but just wondering is this normal? should I be calling midwife tonight?

I gave her a call as they are getting quite bad, apparently my body is just preparing for labour. can last a few days or a couple weeks but its totally normal. if it gets worse I've to call back.
