conception worry

I split with my partner of 3 years for 3 months. We got back together November the 15th but I slept with someone else i had met for the last time on October 27th - he did not ejaculate inside me but we should have used protection!

My last period was november the 13th (ended about the 18th) i am sure of or i was until my 12 week scan. On feb the 5th they dated me at 12w 6d putting my Lmp at november the 7th. (my october period was october 15th and my periods are usually regular).

I also had a scan at 8 weeks dating me under at 7wks 2d and at 9w3d dating me at 9wks4d.

I am so upset because nothing went on behind my partners back as we were not together and we are back together and happier than ever with this news. My 12 week scan dating me a bit over by 6 days has unnerved me a bit. The lady wasn't very helpful and didnt want to listen to me at the scan either and just replied 'you can still have your period and be pregnant' I mean i know you can bleed when pregnant but surely this would date me from my october period so my 8 week scan would have shown an 11 week old baby?

Is there any way the guy i slept with on oct 27th for the last time could be the father? or will it be my partners?

Hi @anom29 I'm trying to get my head around all your dates here but basically even if they dated from lmp 06/11, this means you ovulated apps 2 weeks later so would have actually conceived around the 20/11.
You more not actually pregnant for the first two weeks because you don't ovulate when you're period starts, that's just when they start counting from, therefore I wouldn't imagine there's much possibility of it being the other guys!
I'm no Dr but that's how I would work it out anyway so hope this puts your mind at rest a bit! ❤️

If you're still worried go and speak to your midwife or gp again to put your mind at rest but honestly I don't think it's possible from them dates 🥰

As pp said you're not actually pregnant the first 2 weeks so your baby is actually 10 weeks 6 days old so conceived towards end of Nov. Does your current DP know about the other man? A dnd test will set your mind at ease but looks like baby is your current dp
