How to control broodiness?

Keeping this S n S (short n sweet LOL). Me and DH can start TTC end of August/start of September so it’s quite close but it still feels years away!

We’re waiting as my job states I need to have 2 years service by the time I have to take maternity leave, otherwise it’s SMP which is a major no no.

This is our second child which could make you think I wouldn’t be broody but DC1 is 10 so is reaching angry teen stage and I miss having a baby!

We’ve got holidays planned, both busy in work and in life but I am still so broody I find myself constantly thinking about having another baby! Asking fellow mummas for tips to control the broodiness?

Before anyone suggests - I have tried to think of all the sleepless nights, lack of personal time, poop explosions, however DC1 was an absolutely dreamy baby and has only left us with very few bad memories (which are nearly completely forgotten now)

Mummas , help please!

Stay off here, and all other related baby things. (Vlogs etc if you watch them) Honestly, I tortured myself for a year before we could TTC! I ended up forcing myself to stop spending my spare time roaming the boards and watching pregnancy vlogs and putting my mind into redecorating my house instead - so I ended up spending my spare time scrolling Instagram looking at home decor pages for ideas. It helped kill the time 😀
