Am I in early parts of labour????

So this is my second pregnancy but last time I was induced and ended up in a c section so I’m still new to the whole natural labour thing!!!

I had a sweep yesterday morning at 10am and the doctor said it was successful. She managed to touch the babies head and said I was 1cm dilated and my cervix was soft.

Since then I have been having period like cramps ever since, could this be the very start of things? It’s my DD tomorrow and trying to avoid having a c section on the 16th.

I can go for another sweep on Saturday but hoping he comes before then 😬

Cramps sound like it's the start

For women who have had a vaginal birth their cervixs are always 1cm dilated. It could be the start or at least your body getting ready.

Well it doesn’t seem to be getting worse but still no break from the cramps.. I didn’t have a vaginal birth before so I shouldn’t of been dilated before
