Temping in 3rd trimester?

Hi all,

So I quit work last year after my 3rd miscarriage in 2 years, I was loving my job which was a 2 year contract on a big MOD project; working for an agency. I'd only been there 6 months when I had my 3rd loss (my first loss whilst with that employer) and my manager was desperately struggling without me (because I was the only admin on a large project, not blowing my own trumpet!) anyway he needed me back within a week and I wasn't prepared mentally at all to go back. We had already paid at a private fertility clinic where they'd said my AMH was so low we basically needed to conceive immediately if we were to stand a chance so with all that in mind we agreed I'd quit work and we'd focus on trying for our much wanted baby, knowing there'd be other jobs in the future and financially we could manage on fiancé's salary.

Fast forward and I'm now 27 weeks pregnant!! Absolutely ecstatic to have made it this far BUT I'm finding not working reeeeeeally hard, mainly because I feel a bit useless so my question is would a temping agency take me on at this late stage do you reckon? I'd like the chance to just do a few weeks or even odd days doing admin for company's who need it, mainly to keep my sanity! I'm just asking here first before I make a fool of myself approaching an agency in case they wouldn't even consider me!

Thanks in advance, any advice appreciated, I've also been wracking my brains to think of a way I could make a little money from home, I've taken up dot painting and candle making and hopefully going to start trying to sell 🤞🤞

Why not give a few agencies a call and see what they say? If it was a genuine short-term post then I can’t see why someone who is 27 weeks pregnant couldn’t do it.
