Nervous about 7 week scan

So I had a portable abdominal uss by the obstetrician last week at 6+0 he said there was a sac and it was in the right place. I've been worrying ever since that there wasn't a baby. Shouldn't there have been? I know my dates. I tried to be calm and said oh it's probably early for a hb maybe next week but didn't clock on til afterwards that maybe it means the pregnancy isn't progressing. I'm going back tomorrow and hoping he will do a quick scan again. I have a proper scan in the main dept maybe they'll do a vaginal scan next week too at 7+4 but I'm just nervous. Is it usual to just see a sac at 6 weeks?

It would have been way too early for he. Too early for anything but sac and maybe a yolk (but wouldn't expect a yolk unless transvaginal and maybe not even then).

They found a heartbeat on a vaginal scan! But put my dates back to 6+0

So glad you posted an update and everything is ok!
I have my first scan tomorow and I’ll be about 6.3 weeks only having one as had some pink spotting a few nights ago. I’ve payed privately for it as epu wouldn’t scan me. X
