Has anyone had sharp but light twinges of pain just above my pubic area at 9 weeks and all was ok? It feels like fine needles stabbing through my tummy. No spotting or bleeding. Worried for a MC. This is my 1st pregnancy and every little pain or twinge scares me. x

Yes! It's quite normal as long as you are not in sever pain. I get the pains all the time and I just had my scan on Monday and all is well.

It's basically your body making space for the uterus. Sometimes if I lie down it feels better and goes away but it doesn't last long.

it's called Round ligament pain.

Hope This helps :-)

I had a lotttt of that type of pain , felt like needles pricks low down. I just put it down to stretching and my scan at 13 weeks was fine.
Think all niggles like that are normal
