Hi all, I'm new to this site but just wondered if you had any similar experiences to mine...

I am currently TTC for the first time with my partner and none of us have any children so we are really really keen to get pregnant :)

We have been trying since October 2019 (not long I know) and my periods are like clockwork. Every 28 days, 3 days heavy and 2 days light. The last month I got soo worked up that I was 1 week late for my period but in the end it came. I then vowed to not let TTC get to me too much as I know your mind talks to your body more than you think.

So this month I was due my period on Friday 27th Feb. I had extremely light brownish spotting for the weekend and Monday which is not normal for me. Then from Monday onwards I have had a brown pinkish colour when wiping and a few spots in a pad but nothing bright red and heavy like usual.

I did a pregnancy test yesterday evening around 6:30 pm and a very faint positive appeared. I have tender breasts but this is normal for me around my monthly cycle but lower back pain and chest palpitations are not.

I plan to test again tomorrow morning when HCG levels should be high but Im just wondering if anyone has bled in very early pregnancy and had a healthy pregnancy or if 9 times out of 20 its a chemical pregnancy and I will keep testing positive until HCG levels are gone from my system?

Any advice would be great.

Thanks in advance!

I had light brownish spotting which turned out to be implantation bleeding

With my second I had brown cm and cramps which turned into reddish/rusty spotting for about four days. I just knew I was pregnant and a test confirmed.

Fx for you x

Thank you both. It's turning more of a pinky brown colour when wiping now so I'm just so confused. Hopefully if I test again tomorrow and get a positive I will wait another few days and test again to be certain.

I used a Boots 5 days early test - any experiences good or bad with this brand?

Hi Ladies, I had a similar experience with spotting. My period is like clock work every 21-26 days. I was spotting on Monday for a few hours then nothing at all. I’m day 27 now with no period but boobs are very sore since last week which is normal ish for me but I have been so tired lately and needing the toilet a lot more. I was also sick this morning. I took a first response test this evening which was negative but I have drank about 2 ltrs of water today as well as tea and coffee so bought a clear blue digital one to take in the morning. @Shawla92 the boots ones were always good for me, always came back negative straight away and never any faint lines. It’s so nerve wracking to wait eleven you are hoping for it to be a positive

When* not eleven lol

So I tested again last night with an Early Response Rapid Detection and a VERY faint line appeared and again this morning is the same however the bleeding is slightly heavier now. Only option is to ring GP I guess :)
