Anyone else feeling like a silly nuisance for being sent home from work for not coping or being on reduced timetable and still not managing?
In my head I want to be at work all the time until maternity leave starts but my body just can't cope. Feeling down about it like in some feeble person :-/

@Sunshine8920 how far along are you ? With my first I worked up to due date week this time round am self employed and my job requires a lot of standing on feet and bending down and lifting so I have finished 7 weeks early this time and up until today have been fine but today I have started to struggle sm 33 weeks x

@KHall84 I'm only 25 weeks. In my head I want to work all the time right up as close as I can but I'm just a wreck.
Well done for going all the way!!!

I've had a bit of time off already and only 11 weeks. Morning sickness and migraines have been kicking my was but work have been supportive. At the end of the day yours and your baby's health are important and your work place have to support you and be reasonable x

@Sunshine8920 25 weeks is very early to be having trouble with workload I would say what type of job do you have ? It's up to you when you go on maternity leave in my eyes I seen it that I got to spend more time at home when baby was born xx

I've been off for a week because I injured my back at work. Im so bored(and sore) at home. I plan on working till I'm 35w but I'm scared I'll hurt myself again. Just turned 28w now.

I'm not quite as far along as you but I have found I have good weeks and bad weeks. Last week I had a mild cold and it was awful, really took it out of me. This week I'm so much better. Could it be something other than pregnancy and might you have a spurt?!

Sunshine8920 · 04/03/2020 15:44

@Cherryrainbow poor you, I was off for the first three months so don't worry, as my anaesthetist said, the most changes happen in the first trimester and your allowed to feel crap! xx

@KHall84 I work in a school but do have other health conditions that have worsened due to being pregnant. I just find it so frustrating, I'm the same as you and want the time after baby is here to be able to enjoy! Not to be at home on my own lol!

@Delbelleber I suppose we all just have to listen to ours bodies and do what's best for baby. But I can understand why you feel like that! Xx
