Just wondered how many nappies, maternity pads and blankets everybody packed in there hospital bag? Not planning on being in long as I have a low risk pregnancy and planning a V water birth.

I took about 20 nappies each time, probably a similar number of pads for me (!), and 2 blankets.

We live near the hospital though, so easy for dad to pop home and grab extra blanket if those 2 got dirty.

We packed 20 Nappies, 10 maternity pads and two blankets :) I ended up having an emergency c section and was there for two nights, but that was enough Nappies and pads for me :)

I literally have just written on my fridge 'PACK HOSPITAL BAG'!

Ive done the babies bag. Ive got 3 or so sleepsuits of varying sizes, a hat, a woolly cardigan, 2 blankets, 2 muslins, 10 nappies, cheeky wipes in their portable bags, and a carton of 1st milk just in case anything goes wrong with me and DH has to bottle feed. Thats it I think.

Yet to pack my bag though!

I should also say I live about a 10 min drive from the hospital so popping home for stuff ive forgotten, or extra stuff isnt going to be an issue

Also, take cotton buds for changing babies bottom, my daughter was very sensitive and got nappy rash when we used baby wipes. Also, I would take 6 or 7 Muslins... Babies are sick, a lot!!

I took a pack of 30 nappies and two packs of 10 maternity pads from Boots. One blanket was sufficient.

@N12345625 noted for the muslins! Ill go and add more.
