Any pick me ups instead of coffee?

Nothing like a Cup of coffee to just give yourself a little boost, but as everyone knows coffee should be avoided in pregnancy. Is there any herbal or anything pregnancy safe foods that will give you a little boost, I’m just feeling so low on energy, even though I’m eating really well, I’m exercising, getting enough sleep. I’ve been pregnant before, I know it can be tough but just wondered if any pregnancy safe energy and mental boosts were known of instead of coffee?

Not true, you can have 200mg of caffeine which is about 2 cups or 3/4 diet cokes.

You’ll get used to not drinking as much but some herbal teas are pretty decent - peppermint was good or ice cold water with cucumber or elderflower worked for me too

Like pp said I still had a small cup of coffee in the morning and a can of Coke in the afternoon.
No need to stop all together.

You can have 200mg of caffeine a day during pregnancy which someone has already mentioned. The NHS website breaks it down as to what you can have a day, so two cups of instant coffee etc.

I loved coffee before I was pregnant but now I've gone off it (I've gone off most things tbh), so I am having an English breakfast tea in the morning if I need a pick me up or a coke in the afternoon. I can go days without it but sometimes I just need a little boost. I'm 11 weeks at the moment!

I make half caffs (half spoon of coffee, half spoon of decaf) so you could actually have 4 of them. I find a couple of glasses of water has a similar effect

My go to at the moment is soda water with ice, cucumber and lemon
I was drinking about 7 cups of coffee (large) a day
I've also found adding in a banana in the morning helps give me a bit of a boost.
