That sounds painful! How's the bs testing going?

sparklygothkat · 06/09/2007 14:20

good now, levels have been great the last 2 days apart from one 8.6 but the others have all been below 7.

Good on you SGK, I said they would start to settle down once you got used to how different things affect your levels.

Don't worry about the occassional high result. I would sometimes get them, but for the life of me I couldn't work out why. The dietician said the odd high result wasn't a problem.

Did you have another scan? Did they realise you were already being scanned?

sparklygothkat · 06/09/2007 14:32

I didn't have a scan on monday as I was having one yesterday. Baby is spot on for dates and not growing too big and is not too small I am still under two consultants atm.

At least he is still in there Sparkly, at least he is still in there and not laying all lonely in a perspex incubator ...

sparklygothkat · 06/09/2007 14:50

So true, just a bit worried, in case he triggers labour.. I might have to try and move him, just in case

how far gone are you now?

i remember the last 10 weeks being agony eveyr time the baby shifted!!

Mrswizz · 06/09/2007 15:26

Sparkly, mine's been doing that all day too. I even cried out in pain in Tesco's. Feels like he's trying to head for the light! I'm 28 weeks, how far are you?

missbumpy · 06/09/2007 15:31

I've been feeling something like this in the last few days (I'm 34 + 4). I was wondering if it meant the baby's head had engaged or something? It's really bloody painful isn't it?!

sparklygothkat · 06/09/2007 16:16

am 30 weeks now, its very painful..

OP posts:
sparklygothkat · 06/09/2007 16:17

actually 31 weeks

OP posts:
SleeplessInTheStaceym11House · 06/09/2007 19:21

yeah thats about the time when every movement becomes painful! (or did for me!)

re: the pain being babies head engaging, its possible my dds head engaged at 32 weeks she was 9 days early!

sparklygothkat · 06/09/2007 19:27

god I hope its not him engaging. Whenever my others engaged I gave birth within a week, 31 weeks with DD1, 33 weeks with DD2!!!

OP posts:
sparklygothkat · 06/09/2007 19:28

DS didn't engage, he was breech

OP posts:
SleeplessInTheStaceym11House · 06/09/2007 19:32

i doubt it is, as i said all movements at that stage hurt or at least did with me!

getting their feet stuck under your ribs are really bad!

has the pain eased off now?

sparklygothkat · 06/09/2007 19:34

yep. I can walk again without it hurting!!

OP posts:
SleeplessInTheStaceym11House · 06/09/2007 19:34

well thats something! for you!

sparklygothkat · 06/09/2007 19:51

oohh spoke too soon, he is moving about again, and it feels like lightening on my cervix

OP posts:
SleeplessInTheStaceym11House · 06/09/2007 19:57

oh....have a warm bath and try and relax....i always found it worse when i got stressed about it.

hope it eases up soon...i hated being pregnant everything was just an ache or a pain.

SlightlyMadSCAREYthing · 06/09/2007 20:25

Why don't you go and stand on your head so that there is no pressure down there? Let gravity take him away from your cervix.

sparklygothkat · 06/09/2007 20:27

pmsl @sms, I might faint if I do that..
