You get newborn size

It depends on the weight on the baby, mine was 6lb12. He wore size 0 for a week then wore size 1 after that. In my hospital bag I had a pack of size 0 and a pack of size 1.

DD was 7lb 5oz at birth and went straight into size one nappies.

7.7lbs at birth and has been in size one since. (4 weeks on Thursday)

8lb 7 and I took size 2 nappies in my hospital bag (had never bought nappies before...) & have since abandoned that for size 1s, which he is still in at nearly 5 weeks and almost 10lbs. Get a pack of each smaller size just in case!

When is the baby due? Near the birth they may hive you an indication of whether its likely to he a big or small baby. Mine was going to be tiny so I knew to stock up on micro sized premium size nappies, on the other hand they told my friend her baby was huge before he was born,li and behold he arrived by c section at 13lb and went into 6mth clothes. As for a clue how big they suspect otherwise but a couple of packs of some zero 0 then you can get more if they are not right. Dont go overboard with lads of packs.
