What should I be feeling at 18+6

I'm usually a size 16, 5'7 woman so I've got curves but I'm not plus size.

Am I supposed to be showing? I don't think I have many pregnancy symptoms (maybe 3 or 4). I don't know whether I've got a gut or a bump. It's a little hard but it's not a whole belly. It's like, dipped in the middle (like a crease)

Is my entire belly supposed to be hard or just the bottom near my womb?

Ive never been pregnant before and I don't know how my body is supposed to feel

  • no period
  • headaches
  • maybe feel some movement (fluttering)
  • belly hard right at the bottom
  • slightly darkened nipples

What you're feeling is completely normal.
At your stage the uterus is almost at the belly button, so if your belly is hard, it's most likely to be below your belly button.

The flutters you're feeling are prob bubs moving around, they'll get stronger. When you're completely relaxed in bed, put your palms on your lower belly and concentrate.

I'm 19+5 today but about a week ago I began feeling definite movements.

This is my third and I don't think I'm showing as such. My lower belly is protruding a bit, but at work apart from the couple of people that know, no one else has twigged yet. Being my third, I was expecting to be huge by now!

Everything you describe sounds totally normal! Everyone is different and experiences different symptoms/show at different stages so you can't really compare yourself to others.

I'm 5'7, size 12 and didn't start showing until I was around 20 weeks. My midwife felt my stomach at my 16 week appointment and said my womb was between my pubic bone and belly button. At my 22 week appointment it was in line with my belly button and my bump is definitely getting more visible by the day (I'm 25 weeks now). As your baby grows, you will start to notice the hardened area of your belly rise.

I felt the first flutters at around 17 weeks but they were really subtle. Since 21 weeks they've become a lot more noticeable and regular.

I'm 18+3 and feel pretty similar to you. I've got a bump at the bottom it sort of comes from my belly button downwards. Not very hard though.
I don't have any symptoms really, think I can feel some flutters but could be mistaken for gas ha.
I wish would hurry up and feel movements so I can feel more pregnant !

I'm 19+2 and a size 12-14. In the mornings when I wake up, the area from my pubic bone to just underneath my belly button is super hard and protruding. But once I go for a wee it seems to go down quite a bit haha.
The last 3 days or so, I've gone from flutters to full blown little kicks Smile

I haven't gained any weight yet but midwife said my womb is on track so not worried.

Wow thank you ladies. You've made me feel a bit better. I just want everything to be normal and healthy and I'm super worried.

Reason I ask is because I've only just found out I'm still pregnant after a failed termination so haven't had my first scan to find out if little one is okay. Super anxious but obviously I'm going to continue with my pregnancy. My baby was very wanted in the first place.

I get the feeling it's a boy.
Do you think they'll tell me at the fetal medicine scan on Friday?

@whoruntheworld9 Wow you've really been through it bless you. I hope everything goes well during your pregnancy from here on out.
They should be able to see gender of baby at your scan, you're far along enough for it to be obvious. I had a feeling mine was a boy, and he is Smile

It's been tough. I made a decision that was right for me and my baby and it's been swept from underneath me. However, I'm going to do it on my own. I'm a home owner and I have a decent full time job so I have the security for little one. I'm preparing for the mum life.

I just want to make sure it's healthy and everything is okay! I haven't even told my family yet...

I'm getting excited. I've got my eye on a pram/travel set and I've already bought a sleepsuit and muslin cloths 😍👀
