@ladybug2020 I'm due the 20th August so am 15+5 today so if your due date is 23rd August I just took 3 days off that so you will be 15+2,providing my calculations are right 😂

That's what I thought but lady at scan clinic today said I was 14 plus 5

Download a countdown app (I have Ovia which is the dates the same as what my midwife tells me but not the best app out there for info etc.)

@ladybug2020
Counting back from 23 Aug you are 15+2

Your dates are based off the size of the baby on the scan compared to the average sized baby at that date. Babies tend to grow in spurts and ovulation can take place slightly earlier or later than 14 days from the date of your last period, so the measurements for your baby might be very slightly bigger or smaller than the average, and so your dates could be slightly earlier or later than you think. If it’s only 5 days out then that’s quite normal. It tends to even out across future scans based on the baby’s growth pattern. Mine was 6 days further on than I thought at the 12 week scan, bang on my original dates from LMP at 20 weeks, and I was measuring nearly a week ahead of my dates at 32 weeks. Baby arrived at 40+2
