I’m 17 weeks tomorrow and I’ve had what I think are little movements but they just feel like bubbles popping so I’m not entirely convinced that it isn’t just gas!

When did you first feel it and think yep that’s definitely it?

I hope I feel it soon! Im holding on to hope that these little pops are him moving Halo

I started with those same feelings about 16 and a half weeks (first pregnancy). It took about a week for me to be sure that's what it was. Felt like really like tapping in one place all the time. I had to be lying flat and concentrate on it though. I'm now 26+2 and have a very active baby!

Cazzy198 · 03/03/2020 17:44

I had bubbles which I thought were gas too around 18 weeks but had the first definite movements around 24 weeks.

I'm now 28+4 and my husband has finally felt them too

Beau2020 · 03/03/2020 17:44

I've been feeling flutters for about 2 weeks but they don't seem to be getting any stronger (currently 18 weeks) definitely movement though as I notice it every single day very frequently now xx

Definitely kicks at 21 weeks

BeautyAndTheBump1 · 03/03/2020 18:14

16 weeks on the dot
A few days prior to that I had 'are they? Arent they?' then it happened everyday so I figured it was.

CormoranStrike · 03/03/2020 18:15

erised · 03/03/2020 18:34

16 weeks. Feels like heart palpitations in your tummy.

MrsRose2018 · 03/03/2020 19:47

Ahhh I literally had those bubbly feelings at about 18 weeks in fact I think I posted on here asking that exact question 😂

Im 20 weeks now and they have upgraded to little ‘twitches’. Like... you know those little ‘ticks’ you get in your eye? Like that but low down in my belly! It’s really weird :)

Xx

19-20 weeks I really knew it was baby.

AngryAtYouTube · 03/03/2020 19:57

Funny little flutters at 16 weeks.

I sneezed as I bent to pick something up.

Was a while until I felt them again.

Liskee · 03/03/2020 20:01

Had anterior placenta with number 1 and I was well over 23/24 weeks before I could have said definite baby movements. With number 2 I knew what to look for and posterior placenta, felt kicks from about 17 weeks

BumbleBeeFlower · 03/03/2020 20:05

15 weeks but they were so faint they were barely noticeable. It was only because I was lounging on a sun lounger while on holiday that I noticed them. Otherwise, proper movements would probably be around 18 weeks.

mrssunshinexxx · 03/03/2020 20:14

21 weeks

brimfullofasha · 03/03/2020 20:19

17 weeks

Halloweenbabyy · 03/03/2020 20:33

Around 20 weeks.

jdy123 · 03/03/2020 20:36

I'm 18 weeks and I'm same as you I feel what I think is movement but I can't really tell just yet, could easily pass as gas or just like bubbles and I've gotta concentrate to feel it.
I'm looking forward to getting some proper movement where I definitely know it's baby !

cliodh · 03/03/2020 20:40

Flutters from 16 weeks, proper movement from 18 weeks, felt from the outside from 19 weeks.

Mum2b2020 · 03/03/2020 23:05

20 weeks for me but I have an anterior placenta. My husband couldnt feel them until 25 weeks though.

SomeoneElseEntirelyNow · 03/03/2020 23:06

20 weeks, felt like lava lamp bubbles look!

RyvitaBrevis · 03/03/2020 23:30

23 weeks for it to be clearly, definitely the baby moving and not digestion or gas. But I was probably feeling movement much earlier, maybe from 18-20 weeks. Taking lactulose for constipation made it difficult to say (so much gas). Blush

Bingeslayer · 03/03/2020 23:31

16 weeks on both but took me until 18 weeks on first to realise what it was, felt like little flutters or wind bubbles.I get wind bubbles now and completely panic the sterilisation didn't work 😂😂

Baby00 · 04/03/2020 06:43

I'm 17 weeks too and think I've noticed it the last few days. Felt some flutters, then last night it felt like someone was tapping on the inside on my left side, following by some more flutters so I think it was the baby.

Honeybee85 · 04/03/2020 06:45

I think around 17 / 18 weeks. They say second time mums feel it earlier because they know how it feels and recognise the movements. In the beginning it felt for me like a tiny butterfly was moving inside of me!

Melbs6 · 04/03/2020 09:06

I felt my baby yesterday for the first time at 15+4 💞 it felt like lots of tapping (kind of like a muscle twitch) with a fluttery/butterfly feeling. It was incredible.

I’ve been really channelling myself in to my body from about 13 weeks trying to feel these movements so I’m not sure if that helped me feel my baby earlier
