pregnancy symptoms disappeared at 9 wks

i've had a previous missed mc at 19wks. i'm now 9 wks preg and my tiredness/nausea have disappeared. i'm worried about another missed mc, a preg test this am showed +ve, anyone any idea how long a +ve test will show after a mc. im booked in to the early preg clinic this week. greatful for any info

My sickness disappeared at 11 weeks so it might be that your symptoms have just lessened naturally. Try not to worry too much.

Fingers crossed you are ok but good that you have the appt booked. How long since you had symptoms?

my nausea/tiredness stopped about a wk ago around 8wks but started getting back pain yesterday. just worried about going to the epc appt - trying to think +ve but can only think the worst

I had this and bleeding, I was poistive I had lost my baby - i had 2 previous miscarriages. They told me at the EPAU they couldnt se a heartbeat and I didnt have enough pg hormones to sustain a pregnancy, 2 weeks later they rescanned and there was a heartbeat, my daughter is 2 now. Have hope. xx

Iv been told it takes two weeks for the hormone that makes your test a + to leave your system.

Mummy2aaron, how far along were you (if you remember) when they couldn't see a heartbeat?

6 plus 2 iirc. My scan where they saw the hb was 8 plus 2.

8 + 2 ~ awesome. I don't know if you saw my other posting, my us this week didn't show heartbeat (it measured the baby at like 7 + weeks). They told me it was it... but I have another scan on Wed and your posting is giving me hope!

had my scan at epc yesterday afternoon, told that i'm 8w +2, saw babys HEARTBEAT! wow really thought i had another missed mc.

glad your scan went well positive. My symptons seemed to disappear in early preg for about 10 days.. they came back with vengenece. Happened to a few outhers too. Am now nearly 24 weeks so hope all goes well for you x

Absolutely will do... Feels like Wed is years away... Driving my hubby crazy... He's been wonderful and really believes that things will work out... I AM SOOOO HAPPY FOR YOU, positive! You go girl!!!

I have the same. Symptoms have gone - just bought another test (which I won't take reading the notes, it will stay in my system for 2 more weeks) but I do have scan booked on Monday (8+1) hope to have a good outcome then too!

my nausea has returned this afternoon prob because i'm not worrying so much after yesterdays scan. still apprehensive about my 12 wks scan. going to put my feet up and get some TLC from hubby this weekend!!

my symptoms stopped after about 9 weeks of preg too but when i went for my scan it revealed that i was 14 weeks so i was further on than what i thought must have my dates mixed up i thought i had a missed miscarriage too and was very nervous on the day of my scan but there was a heart beat and everything is ok

So glad you're ok and the scan went well. My symptoms come and go all the time. When I feel permanently nauseous I wanna scream then I fall asleep at my desk at my new job (eek!) and next thing I feel nothing and panic that there's something wrong! Can't wait for the scan (aint got date yet) but GP thinks I am due mid March...

My mum died a few months ago and I miss her terribly - especially now. Some mornings I wake up and think "Oh, I must phone mum and ask her if this is right" and then I realise she's not here to ask anymore.

This website is a life saver - everyone seems so kind and helpful. I've been on other message boards where people can be nasty and scathing for no reason - how sad. Especially when you're asking about pregnancy?!?

Sorry for the ramble. Soooo glad you're ok though

hi paranoid1sttimer,
i still pick up the phone to ring home after 7yrs so mn is great for me. havent used any other sites so can only go on this one which is as you say a lifesaver.

hope you get date for your scan soon, take care
