Is it normal to wait this long for first appointment and scan

Hi all

Just quick question I am pregnant with my first still can’t believe it, finally called the booking appointment number they gave me 24th March first midwife appointment and 6th April for first scan? My last period 6th January is that the normal length of time to wait and they no it first pregnancy ?

6th April is exactly 3 months from period so yes that’s normal

It does feel like a long time but it’s definitely right!

Thanks because it is my first pregnancy haven’t really a clue haha I need to stop overthinking and reading into every last thing.

Yep my booking appointment with midwife was at 9+6 and I'll be 12+5 on my scan date.
