Has anyone's ever taken D-Mannose for a UTI whilst pregnant?
I've had cystitis for about 3 weeks now. Was prescribed macrobid (nitrofurantoin) for a 7 day course which I completed, but the infection hasn't gone. I've been back to the GP twice since completing the course but they said they can't find any sign of infection in my urine so don't want to prescribe more antibiotics. I've suffered with cystitis since I was 16 so I know the symptoms and I know it's what I have so it's frustrating that the dr won't treat me for it. I'm going to go back to the GP as soon as I can next week, but in the meantime I was wondering if anyone has taken D-Mannose whilst pregnant and been fine with it?
I used to take it all the time pre-pregnancy and it worked an absolute treat, so just wondered if it's ok for me to still take it?
