Feeling fat

I’m 11+1 and feeling so fat already. I can’t tell if it’s pregnancy or all the rubbish food I’ve been having from trying to help the nausea. Either way, I feel like I’ve already put on at least a stone and my bmi is slightly above normal for pregnancy so midwife has prescribed extra folic acid.

Just wondering if anyone else is already feeling the same or am I worrying for nothing?

Could have written this post myself!
I'm 23 weeks tomorrow.
I keep telling myself I'm growing another human but I still feel like a whale

When you're nauseous and having to eat whatever gets you through the day, but don't yet have a proper bump, it's a really weird time for feeling good about your body!

I know it's hard but trying to remember that your body is doing a lot of hard work creating a human means you need to eat, gain some weight etc is worth remembering.

I couldn't touch a vegetable for the first 14 weeks but as soon as the nausea went I was craving very different things! So it will change soon. My biggest craving now is ice!

And as soon as you get the bump you will hopefully feel more at home in your new shape.

I'm the same, 13+2 here and feeling like an absolute blob! No defined bump unless I look really hard/am wearing particular clothes so at the moment just feel like my work clothes are straining to contain my girth and I look and feel like I've eaten all the pies... You're definitely not alone!

I'm 16w now and I don't have a neat little bump at the front... it's literally gone on equally all round so I have a perfect spare tyre 🤣 I'm very slim usually and still am except for this well defined tyre. Like I've swallowed a beach rubber ring.
