Hi!
I’m currently 9 weeks 5 days and for the past couple of days (especially today) I’ve been experiencing a really tender lower abdomen, it’s kind of all over below my belly button, basically in area where baby would be and pelvic area.
I’ve bloated a lot so feel very ‘swollen’ and my tummy is a bit tender to touch, it feels like someone has blown a balloon up inside me or something!
Is this normal?
I’ve been experiencing niggles and twinges throughout, but haven’t actually been tender to touch!
Also experiencing an achey lower back on one side but not sure if this is related!
(Had scan at 8 weeks and all was fine so no risk of ectopic or anything)

I'm not sure about the tenderness of lower abdomen. But lower back pain is apparently normal at this stage due to your uterus expanding and putting pressure on your lower back and spine. I have been doing some yoga to try and help with mine (using you tube videos for first trimester pregnancy). Do you currently have a midwife you could call for advice? x
