Hello! I wanted some advice! I recently found out I am pregnant and I am measuring a week behind. My doctor office says the baby is implanted well and looks good, and there is a heart beat of 99. On 2/19 the baby was measuring 6 weeks and 1 day when should have been 6 weeks and 4 days with a heartbeat of 94. This week on the 26th the baby measured 6 weeks and 2 days with a heartbeat of 99 and I was told was implanted well. Just measuring small, but I have a fibroid and a cyst AND they were having a hard time getting a good picture . What are your thoughts? Is there a good chance everything could still be ok?

I am no expert by any means, but from other stuff I've seen I dont think its unusual to measure smaller at such an early stage? They're so tiny so 1mm makes all the difference. Hopefully it will catch up soon. Seems like a good sign that it's got a heartbeat though. I hope it all goes well for you x

It's not unusual to measure small in the early stages and it doesn't sound like your sonographer was concerned which is good!
I had an early scan at what should have been 7+5 from LMP but baby only measured 6+1. I'm 16 weeks now and by the time I had my dating scan, baby had caught up by a week.

Hopefully there will be a positive outcome for you too x

It's not the measuring small to necessarily be concerned about HOWVER the baby appears to have only grown a small amount in 7 days - and unfortunately that doesn't sound like good news OP but everything is so small in there they could have got the measurements wrong x

I was measuring a week behind at the same stage and baby caught up 2 weeks later. Try not to stress.
