Hi all. I'm 7 weeks pregnant, been at the hospital since midnight. I had bleeding from about 2pm, it was like a period amount of blood but there were tiny clots. Then just before I got to hospital there were clots about the size of a little raisin. The doctor said nothing is dangerous and has booked me in for a scan on the 10th. He said it could be a miscarriage but it could also be absolutely fine and my blood could just be clotting where I'm laying down. Just seeing as I have to wait till the 10th now and I'm going insane already, wondered if anyone has been in a similar situation w/ positive experiences at all? Xx

Ask to be referred to the local Early Pregnancy Unit or just get the details. You can usually self refer. They will book you in for a scan much sooner I'd guess.

Hi @salsadipp sorry that you’re having to go through this worrying time.
The other poster is right - try and see if you can get assessed by a EPU, I had a little bit of pink blood last week (I’m 7+4 today) and I went to the walk in EPU and they were so brilliant and scanned me and took my bloods and I was able to see a little one with a heartbeat. You deserve to have that kind of reassurance as well so try and push for it, the 10th is too long to wait when you’re upset and anxious.

I had a big bleed a few days after my 12 week scan then again over night. Saw the EPU team the next day for a scan (can take a few days but not 11). All was fine. Happened again a few times. Turned out there was a sack of blood which kept leaking. My daughter is now 5 months old.
