Tummy feeling bruised/tender

On the upper tummy which is made worse by baby poking feet on the area, it's quite sore to touch.. Often comes and goes. Mentioned it to midwife but she didn't seem concerned tbh

Anyone else know of or experienced this? I'm 37 weeks today if that helps Smile

I've got a similar thing, I'm 38+2 and my baby is breech. Where she is sticking her head out it's making me sore but again was told not to worry about it. I think it's like with any area of your body that's getting constantly poked and prodded it's going to hurt.
Also, although my baby is a good size, my bump is still small with not a lot of room (hence being breech I guess) so that's probably another contributing factor.. could you be in a similar situation?
Good luck with the rest of the pregnancy Smile

@suchfun0101 thanks for the reply! I was thinking it was probably the babies position as I've had his feet rubbing constantly under my ribs. It's so sore at times.
I've also been experiencing 'lightening crotch' a lot recently which is a killer, not sure if you've experienced it but being breech, if you have felt it, oh my goodness.
A ton of stretch marks have appeared over the past few weeks, feeling like I could pop so the lack of space probably contributes, currently got a sore throat making me cough which is painful it's daunting anytime i feel an itch
I can not wait to give birth now!! Grin
Good luck to you too!Thanks

I had that too towards the end of the pregnancy. Very bruised as that's where she used to kick over night.

It let up as soon as the bump dropped so you probably don't have too long to go!

@LovingLivingLife the joys Sad guess it's just one of those things, just don't remember it in my first pregnancy. Not long left at all, im sooo looking forward to the big day
