Yeah, pretty much.

Cucumbersalad · 29/02/2020 17:35

Ah so sweet!!! How long to go?

Lunafortheloveogod · 29/02/2020 17:37

It depends on how far along you are, further along the more they do but mine looked like Voldemort had a nose job. Ds fortunately packed on quite a bit more beef before birth Grin

Your scan does look really nice n clear though so I’d say it’ll be close.

mumme111 · 29/02/2020 17:37

Mine looked nothing like my daughter lol x

Whattheother2catsprefer · 29/02/2020 17:39

Were you hoping for a puppy?

mynameiscalypso · 29/02/2020 17:44

Mine looked terrifying; three separate people said he looked like Gollum

Bol87 · 29/02/2020 17:56

What did you expect a 3D scan if your baby to to look like?!

Are you confusing it with the 2D NHS scans? They don’t show a face but 3D & 4D scans will show your baby quite clearly!

summerrain34 · 29/02/2020 18:47

No I didn't want a puppy to whoever made that comment ... quite irrelevant really it's my first baby so was just curious as to how accurate they are as he looks different in every imagine I got on the 3D scan due to amniotic fluid that's around him makes the face distorted also was just curious as to anyone else who has had one this is my first baby

We had a 4D scan done of my now 10month old and got a key ring at the time. Even now, the scan pictures look 100% identical to him

sjmco · 01/03/2020 17:06

A puppy? Seriously? I had a 3D scan and baby due in just over 2 weeks so let's see. Yours look really cute 🥰

Darkstar4855 · 01/03/2020 19:11

Never had one, find them a bit bizarre tbh!

They are a tad. I wouldn't have one again I don't think, unless I have concerns. The last one I had because they checked umbilical cord function and threw the 4D bit in there for good measure.
