Pregnancy tests with dilute urine - experiences of bfps/bfns

Hello,

I'm just wanting to know who has had a false negative when testing with dilute urine and was this after your period was late?

I am nearly 39 weeks pregnant, so I'm just asking this out of interest (and I'm a bit bored on mat leave so over thinking pregnancy things). When I got my due date from the 12 week ultrasound, it nearly a week earlier than I expected from LMP. I did take a couple of pregnancy tests way back in June/July when I first found out. The first one I took was when my period was late and it was negative. If my ultrasound date is right, I would have been 4+6 when I took that test (or 20 dpo I think). I did do it on an evening with quite dilute urine. Appreciate fmu is better, but if ultrasound is right, I have always thought I would have got a bfp on the first test. Whilst I know ultrasounds are generally considered more reliable, I'm wondering if my ultrasound due date is a little early. It was a cheap test, one that says it's accurate from day of missed period and "up to 4 days before".

So, has anyone had negative tests several days after a late period due to dilute urine? Or alternatively, have you had positives with dilute urine at this stage?

Thanks

Not had negative but squinterna for several days.
My tests were always more visible if done later afternoon or evening. CB digital was negative when my period was missed. I'm 31 weeks now. I just think it has to do with everyone. Don't know the exact reason but in each pregnancy I had was the same.
