Anyone else nesting?

I'm only 24 weeks but for the last few weeks I've wanted to do nothing but rest and get the house ready. I don't want to go out, don't want to socialise, and really begrudge going to work as it is getting in the way if things that I want to do in the house.

My energy levels are pretty low, so I find I can only do a bit then need a rest, but I've lost interest in anything else.

There's been a lot to do, (decluttering, new furniture to be assembled, rooms to be re-arranged, painting, cleaning etc) but I've made fairly good progress over the last fortnight.

Anyone else feel the same? Am I too early in pregnancy to be nesting? I've got a nervous feeling that I need to have everything ready sooner rather than later.

Just go with it! Never got the nesting thing when I was pregnant (though I did make the curtains for the nursery, last time I managed to sew anything (baby is now 16)!

Yep, nesting in full swing here too and I’m only 19 weeks! I’ve done more to the house in the past week than we’ve done in the past 2 years!

I’m going with it - it all needs doing so I’m glad I’ve got the motivation to get on with it now. Very satisfying ☺️

Yes I had it at that stage then it disappeared for a few weeks 35 weeks and it's back which I'm happy about .

Yes I was in big nesting mode around 20 weeks and wanted to set everything up and get the house sorted. 35 weeks now and just sorting the last little bits ready for little ones arrival soon!

Thank goodness it's not just me! I was starting to panic that it meant we'd be getting a very early appearance from baby (talk about hormonal paranoia!).

It has felt good to get things sorted, and although there is more to do, I'm much happier with the house now than I have been at any other time since moving in (few years ago).

Might have a go at some painting tomorrow if this back ache goes away.
