Hi all!

Got my BFP a couple of weeks ago and have midwife appointment booked for next week.

In the meantime, I just wondered if anyone else was freezing cold at this stage? I've googled and it seems to be normal to be either hot or cold but just thought I'd ask for any real life experiences?

Thanks!

Congratulations :)

Yess i have been cold all the way through pregnancy. I always was previously anyway but thought your temperature was supposed to rise during pregnancy but not for me.
Now 31 weeks and i'm starting to feel a little warmer than usual.

Yes I felt very, very cold and I was usually a cold person previous to that. At one point it felt like I was never warm enough!

Tryingandtrying · 28/02/2020 15:15

Thanks @ejmay90 - I'm normally quite warm but my nose and hands are cold ALL the time now!

Yes, especially in the evenings. It’s so weird! But will hit third trimester in June so expecting to be far too hot for the last bit of PG!

SpiltMilk100 · 28/02/2020 15:32

Yes I had this. Very unlike me to feel the cold I'm usually the opposite end of the scale sweating my tits off in the winter. I had to start wearing socks to bed which I've never done in my life.

Tryingandtrying · 28/02/2020 15:38

@SpiltMilk100 - Ah I literally had this thought last night but I can't bring myself to do that yet as I normally hate the feel

Yes I hate the feel too but my little toes couldn't take the cold anymore! It's not too bad once you get used to it.

hjbows88 · 28/02/2020 16:47

Yep felt cold since I got pregnant, now 24 weeks! Taking regular baths to warm me up :)

Tryingandtrying · 28/02/2020 16:54

Glad it's not just me. Thought I was going a bit mad

Yes, it went away at about 20 weeks for me though. My heat bill over winter was enormous!
