Hi everyone.

So basically I am almost 5 weeks pregnant. Just found out last week. We are extremely happy as we have wanted this for a long time. However I have noticed some spotting after I orgasm. We have done the deed 3 times this week. And 2 of the times I orgasmed and that's when I saw the spots of blood afterwards. It was very light. Pinkish colour. I wanted to know if anyone has had a situation like this and the outcome has been good?
I had a miscarriage a year ago so I'm very worried that this will go the same way.
Appreciate your help x

I'm 6 1/2 weeks ish and spot every time we have sex or if I orgasm. From what I have read it seems normal.

@LittleBrownBaby thanks for the reply... have you been to see the doctor or anything? And if so, what did they say?

@ProveThemWrong2014 from what I’ve heard it’s not uncommon. I’m 7+2 and I haven’t had sex - the struggle to get to this point means that for me it’s not worth the (probably very very minimal) risk.

I have been because I've been spotting on and off and had a miscarriage in October. Had one scan which showed an empty sac, then one a few days later which showed and sac and yolk sac - I now have a scan on Monday and hoping to see a heartbeat. I feel very much pregnant so hoping it'll be all good. Good luck

Hi @LittleBrownBaby how did your scan go yesterday? Is Baby okay? x

@ProveThemWrong2014 thanks so much for asking. We have a healthy baby and a perfect heartbeat. I bled / spotted on and off for three weeks and never thought we'd get to this point. We are so lucky.

@ProveThemWrong2014 how is everything going for you?

ProveThemWrong2014 · 03/03/2020 18:21

@LittleBrownBaby that's such amazing news! It's nice to hear some good news. I wish you the best in your pregnancy and hope you have a beautiful healthy baby at the end of it x

How many weeks are you now? And what symptoms do you have.

@LittleBrownBaby I have a scan next Tuesday so I'm trying not to worry in the meantime. Who knew a week could drag so much 🤣

I haven't had any more spotting since the last time. And it was only a little. But I also don't have any symptoms either. No I'm not holding much hope at the moment. Feel like it's already over.

They said it was hard to date as early days - possibly 6 1/2 or 7 weeks.

I feel sick a lot but not puking, waking up hungry which is unlike me, sore boobs and bloating.

Thank you - I really hope this one sticks.

How about you? What's the latest?

LittleBrownBaby · 03/03/2020 18:26

Hoping Tuesday comes quickly for you! A lack of symptoms is frustrating - but certainly doesn't mean it's over. Wishing you all the luck in the world!

@LittleBrownBaby thank you for the kind words. Just a waiting game now. I hope so desperately that there is a heartbeat when I go and they tell me everything is okay but it feels like I've already prepared myself for the worst. So fingers crossed. Nothing else I can do except hope and pray that everything is okay x
