Is hair removal more painful during pregnancy?

That really. Keen to get a wax / do some grooming but afraid of the pain! Anyone find it worse like e.g. before period comes or is it ok? Thanks ! X

Yes waxing is more painful during AF and also during pregnancy but only a little bit more than normal x

I just went to have my eyebrows threaded and it definitely hurt more than it usually does!

Can't say I noticed any difference.

I’ve found it a lot more painful, although was worse at the beginning of pregnancy. I used to have regular full body waxes previously but during pregnancy can only cope with eyebrows, upper lip and legs. Letting the rest be fully natural for now because I’m also too lazy and tired to bother shaving Grin

I didn’t find that it hurt that much more although I went from a Brazilian to just a bikini wax when pregnant so maybe that’s why. My babies liked to kick and roll around a lot during waxes which freaked my beautician out a bit Grin

I've had 2 Brazilians this pregnancy and found them no different. I was expecting it to be worse. That being said I've been waxed every couple of months for over 5 years so it's usually always quick and mostly painless anyway.

I don’t find waxing particularly more painful personally but plucking, yes! Plucking my eyebrows of strays makes my eyes water! Waxing them is just the usual ‘oof’ and then it’s done!

I found waxing more painful when pregnant. Had to stop!

Thanks everyone! I find Brazilians and legs just so awful already, mostly because I don't do them regularly enough I think. Once I had a Brazilian when I was premenstrual and it was horrific so swollen and painful. I might just shave legs and get a bikini wax hopefully that'll be ok!

Going regular is the trick to it not being too bad. I also think when you find a good waxer stick with them!

I've had laser on my bikini area and pregnancy has brought the hair back with a vengeance 🙈
I'm trying to pluck up the courage to go for a wax

I found bikini more painful to the point t I stopped bothering. Didnt even give it a trim at the end becasue I just couldn't be arsed.
