Gong bath during second trimester?

Hello! I'm nearly 14 weeks. Keen to go to a gong bath next week. I've been to a sound bath before I was pregnant and loved it, so relaxing. Just wondering if anyone has been during pregnancy / would recommend / knows of any risks?

Thanks!

Just had a quick google what a gong bath is? What worries you about relaxation days etc. That makes you think their is a risk?

It's just that it is deep sounds and gentle vibrations. I imagine it's prob fine but wanted to see if anyone had experienced it... So many things are off limits in pregnancy that you don't expect

I guess the best thing is to ring ahead and ask. From what I see on the internet it's meditation type activity which I would assume would be a good thing during pregnancy. If there is anything physical (eg yoga) instructors need to insured correctly though

Well, if I were your unborn baby, I would be twitchy with irritation, but that's not what you're asking... Grin

That's amazing! I never knew about this until now. I know what I'm doing for my 48th birthday. Grin

I'd be surprised if there are issues, OP but I'd just ask the centre you attend to confirm it's alright/safe (I'm sure it must be). Congratulations! Flowers
