Maternity leave dates - help !

Hello,

Please can anyone help me with working out my maternity leave dates !

My leave is due to start on 10th April

I finish work on 3rd April but will be using annual leave to start

Our holiday year runs March to Feb

I get the bog standard holiday allowance and bank holidays

I have not taken any holidays before my leave so started a fresh year when I go on leave

With this information can anyone work out what my return date will be - three people at work (all HR and Accounts!) have given three different answers - vastly different !

Are you adding the full holiday entitlement on at the end of leave I.e. 28 days statutory leave? You get 52 weeks from when leave starts I.e. from 10th April. You would then add on the 28 holiday days at the end

All your annual leave accrues whilst on mat leave, you can either add it on to the end of your maternity leave (so say if you take a year you would add your number holiday days owed onto the end).

What I did is I used it as a sort of phased return. So I returned full time but only worked 3 days a week and used 2 days of my accrued leave per week for the first couple of months.
