I'm 11+1 and have a big bloat going on. Need to invest in some maternity leggings - any recommendations?

Boohoo premium leggings are good, true to size and not see through x

MrsRose2018 · 27/02/2020 10:33

Im 20 weeks and I just use Morrisons leggings! They’re really thick, really comfy and have a very high waist and thick band! I love them

EmotionalEllie · 27/02/2020 10:37

Love Leggings are good.

PaulinePetrovaPosey · 27/02/2020 10:45

H&M are excellent. I also have Jojo ones for twice the price and half the quality.

js30 · 27/02/2020 10:53

I've lived in my H&M ones and am actually going to be distraught when I can't wear them anymore!! They do grey ones too that are nice and thick so can do yoga etc in them! They're brilliant xx

Annafs · 27/02/2020 11:17

16w and I’m wearing either H&M maternity leggings or their maternity jeans 24/7 now. They’re really comfy and I got some in store and some I got second hand off fb marketplace for like £3 each in excellent condition. Bargain!

Moongirl10 · 27/02/2020 12:28

I have two pairs from GAP and they are amazing and not see through at all.

flissity · 27/02/2020 12:34

27 weeks and wearing H&M every day for work... they are the only thing I am comfy in, so they get washed very reguarly! I have 2 pairs..

They are still like new, not baggy, really comfy

procrastinator101 · 27/02/2020 12:47

Spanx seamless ones are amazing, quite expensive but worth every penny, never fall down!

DawnK77 · 27/02/2020 13:42

I've found Loveleggings to be good

LolaSmiles · 27/02/2020 13:45

I had H&M ones early on, but found them too small as the bump grew.
ASOS do some premium ones that are good.

gingerbreadpizza · 27/02/2020 13:45

What are the h and m sizes like ? I ne er find size guides accurate I’m usually a 10-12?so would I get medium or large ?

LolaSmiles · 27/02/2020 13:49

I was an 8-10 before pregnancy, started pregnancy in an XS and moved to a small by 18/20 weeks. As my bump got lots bigger I tried a medium, but found they were far too big on my bum/thighs.

For a 10/12, I would go for medium unless you're blessed with curvy hips/bum.

LTofBR3 · 27/02/2020 14:01

I got some from Seraphine as had an offer code - they're good quality but I do find that the crotch area needs a lot of pulling up! I think I might give the H&M ones a try as think I'm going to be living in leggings for the foreseeable!
I couldn't resist buying some maternity dungarees from Next as well - sooo comfy but I definitely need a bigger bump before I can pull them off Grin

MunchyMunchkin · 27/02/2020 14:04

Lidl do excellent ones - Instore at the moment and a bargain price.

Rachaelf37 · 27/02/2020 17:49

Love leggings are good quality and comfy. Pretty much lived in them

Mum2b2020 · 27/02/2020 18:25

Second the gap recommendation. Really comfortable and a decent thickness, compared to my expensive seraphine ones which are more like tights.

Chanel05 · 01/03/2020 08:01

Thanks ladies. I bought some H&M ones yesterday and they are sooo comfy.

I think all mine were from new look. Maternity leggings are the best!

Sunflower40 · 01/03/2020 08:57

Could someone pls post a link to the best H&M ones? There are a few options when I checked online! Thanks

toomuchteaandcake · 01/03/2020 09:16

Primark. A size or two too big. £3!

MsChatterbox · 01/03/2020 09:21

@sunflower40 MAMA Jersey leggings - Dark grey marl - Ladies | H&M GB
www2.hm.com/en_gb/productpage.0120129001.html these are the ones I got. Sooooo comfy!

whatswithtodaytoday · 01/03/2020 09:24

I actually miss my H&M leggings now I'm not pregnant 😆 I lived in them, especially after about 30 weeks when my maternity jeans got uncomfy.

Sunflower40 · 01/03/2020 09:25

@misschatterbox thank you! Ordering today Smile

Babyshine2020 · 01/03/2020 10:28

I have the H&M leggings and found I had to go up a side to stop them being shiney (2 pack Mama legging are £17.99 I think). I'm not a fan of the jeans from H&M but Dorothy Perkins do some lovely ones, great fit & under and over hump - currently in the sale for £15/pair
