6 positive tests but negative blood work

Hello ladies... I have been having very troubling weeks... So usually I’m a regular 28 days on my cycle. I started mind January 18th 2020. After it ended on my app it said I was due to start the 16th of February and yet I missed the day (which does not happen to me I’m always earlier in fact) Anyways something inside me to told me to take a pregnancy test (took one the 17th) it said positive ! I went to planned parenthood that same day to get a urine test .. NEGATIVE. I took two more home tests the next day and it said positive again (I have only used clear blue digital and the first response) so I went to a different clinic and they took another urine test .. NEGATIVE.? I was so confused. Why was I getting positive at home? So fast forward to the 22nd of February and I start bleeding.. there is no cramping no bloating no hurting nothing just blood. It’s not light as I still managed to bleed through my regular tampon. I don’t think it was spotting but I’m not sure. ++

+++ After I started bleeding I took two more tests.. POSITIVE So I’m still bleeding and I started looking more into it and I started believing I was miscarriaging so I got scared and I went to the ER where they did a urine test and blood work and it came out NEGATIVE..... I am so confused about what is going on. Has this ever happened to anyone? Am I pregnant ? Am I not? Why am I getting false positive ? I’m so confused and scared.

Update : I took another today! Still “pregnant”

That’s what I was thinking.. but it doesn’t add up.. 7 positive test .. 3 negative urine tests and 1 negative blood work test... I’m so confused

Tomorrow I’m going to take the clear blue week indicator ..

Like .. these tests can’t all be wrong right?

I don't know but just wanted to say you're not supposed to use tampons only pads when pregnant..

You say you had negative blood work - do you know what your actual hormone figure was?

Perhaps chemical pregnancy? Have they asked u to go back in 48 hours for a retest to see if the HCG is doubling? Xx

Hello Ladies, so I did another blood work and negative again... Took the cleablue week indicator and it said not pregnant. I think it might have been a chemical pregnancy which really breaks my heart... I thought the happy news were given just by a positive pregnancy test but after SEVEN POSITIVE tests... it appears im not pregnant.. If by the Grace of God I am, I will find out in the months to come.. but as of right now I will let him handle this because this stress has really taken a toll on me.

No more bleeding. I was still spotting for a day extra than usual.. I’m so frustrated im so scared.. how are these positive?..

They're positive because you had an early pregnancy that didn't proceed. The blood tests were coming back negative as the levels weren't high enough to pick up pregnancy as it wasn't a viable pregnancy.

I took one again today...

I just have this weird feeling... I keep taking these tests and I know it’s hurting me. But I can’t explain this. Last time I had unprotected sex was February the 12th.. 2 weeks ago.. I don’t know how to make this up

OP, sperm can survive inside you for up to a week, so you could have conceived later than you think. Positive tests are a positive sign. Maybe ask for repeat blood work, there should be something in your blood by now.

You could wait a bit and get a private scan. If it were me I would probably start taking folic acid

I wouldn't do anything further for now. From the dates you had sex (latest being 2 weeks ago) you can work out likely dates for being pregnant. If you had sex 2 weeks ago, and that was when you conceived, then that's probably why you are getting positive tests and negative blood work, as the tests are more sensitive.

Sadly, if it was a chemical pregnancy which hasn't progressed, you will still get positive tests but not for long more.

So my advice is to wait and see what happens. Leave it a few days, and check again. Getting blood tests is unusual after a positive test usually (it sounds like you may be in the US so maybe it is different there?) so I would go with the positive tests for now, and then you can arrange a scan at about 7 weeks to assess.

Sorry it's confusing but I think you'll have to wait a bit to be honest. However, if you are normally very regular, it would be very unusual to ovulate significantly later. I'd go with your usual cycle and work from there. Good luck.

Did you take any more tests to work out what's happening op?

I took 3 first response (I waited three days for the third test) and the line got darker. My one step is negative (but I can faintly see a shadow of a line)

My equate is positive too!

I also noticed that the one step is the one my doctors used! So no wonder I got a negative test with them .. I keep getting them with that brand too (but there is A faint shadow) no idea why my blood work came out negative thoughts
