Hello, we found out about a week ago that I’m pregnant with dc 2, I’d had a feeling for a few weeks but a grand total of 5 pregnancy tests last week confirmed it, my dp currently doesn’t live near me and dd but is moving back in July. I was wanting another child because I have a twin sister so wanted my daughter to have a sibling close in age, especially since she doesn’t have any cousins and probably won’t get any any time soon but financially we are tight and having two children 20 months apart terrifies me (especially since I’m a young parent). The only thing I am sure of is keeping the baby but I’m looking for some reassurance and advice from people who have been in similar situations.

Congratulations! My two boys are 20 months apart and now aged 3 and 4 and the best of friends. It’s lovely. I won’t lie I really did find it hard at first, but I am a real worrier and I would really advise you to go with the flow as much as you can. Giving your child a sibling is a lovely thing
