This is my first pregnancy and I’m 21 weeks pregnant, for the past 2 weeks I have felt lots of movements and kicking. Now for nearly two days I have felt nothing and all I feel is really bad pressure below and even when I lift one leg up it’s like my bladder is hurting!

Contact your local maternity unit as a matter of urgency. This is a reason to be concerned. That's a long time for no movement.

Get on the phone and go in for some monitoring.

MamaMama20 · 26/02/2020 21:13

Normally I would prob say that 21 weeks is too early to have a pattern in movement as most midwives would say you wont notice a pattern til about 26 weekish. However, if you have had a lot of movement previously and now its stopped I would ring maternity unit asap!
It's better to be safe than sorry

Ring your EPU or midwife. Policy most places is that they won’t monitor movement under 26 weeks I think but they should bring you in and do checks and listen to babies heart beat with a doppler.

Can be perfectly normal at this stage not to feel lots of movement as they still have lots of room and baby could be kicking into your back.

I agree never leave no movement without being checked over they will see u straight away. Hope everything is ok.

Very early days to be getting movement but nothing is a worry if you've felt lots before. I'd make your way to hospital tbh. You need monitoring

I’ve contacted my midwife so just waiting for a reply, I’m feeling loads of pressure like my bladder and it’s hurting when I stand up or life my leg up, hope it’s nothing to worry about, thank you for your reply’s

Hopefully nothing to worry about, baby may have got themselves in an awkward position sat on your bladder!

They can do that.

But best to get reassurance

Kiew123 · 27/02/2020 21:53

Thank you everyone, midwife said the baby may be in a awkward position and lying on my bladder, she checked the heart beat aswel and everything seemed fine.
